Music has always been a big part of my life. It was one of the main things I used to differentiate myself from my peers and to find my tribe.
My first concert was The Oak Ridge Boys. My parents were big fans. My second concert was Huey Lewis and The News. A friend a couple of years older than me really wanted to go see them at what was then the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, PA. However, the concert I really claim as my first is U2 at Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh. This was on their Joshua Tree tour. The concert t-shirt I bought that night became my school uniform. I wore it as often as possible that year. It can be seen above in my high school year book.
I plan on using this revamp of my site to help me catalog the music I have in my collection and to write about how have had an impact on my life.
